There must be light, even in dark times
Jetzt haben wir gerade 2 Jahre Pandemie hinter uns gebracht und nun tobt ein Krieg mitten in Europa. Es sind unruhige Zeiten und an manchen Tagen stimmt mich das traurig und ängstlich. Oft kann ich meine Kunst nutzen um Gefühle auszudrücken und so habe ich mir einen Tag Zeit genommen und mich in dem Fotostudio C104 im Kölner Norden eingemietet. Mit der Unterstützung einiger Modelle der Agentur „No Toys“ und der tollen Christina Goris, die sich um Haare und Makeup gekümmert hat, habe ich mit Licht und Schatten experimentiert um einige ausdrucksstarke Portraits entstehen zu lassen.

We have just come through 2 years of pandemic and now there is a war raging in the middle of Europe. These are turbulent times and some days it makes me feel sad and anxious. Often I can use my art to express my feelings and so I took a day and rented the photo studio C104 in the north of Cologne. With the support of some models from the agency „No Toys“ and the great Christina Goris, who took care of hair and makeup, I experimented with light and shadow to create some expressive portraits.
